HLCX 6305 poses with the WSOR yard sign |
Description: |
A grab shot from my driver's side window while in traffic on E. Johnson Street. The low resolution of my crappy phone camera renders the number unreadable but the ex-MPI paint identifies this as HLCX 6305. It and 6328 have recently joined 6313 and 6334 in service on the WSOR, providing some variety among the red and gray brigade. |

CN 3183 leads a sister on the head end of a massive southbound |
Description: |
Long string of potash behind this pair, then two mid-train distributed power units, then manifest. CN pioneered these "land barge" combined trains in Wisconsin, and while CP and UP have experimented with them, CN seems to remain the most fond of them. |

CN 3801 is rear end DPU on a SB intermodal that followed the land barge |
Description: |
After the first southbound finally cleared the control point at Valley, I expected the NB intermodal there to get going. Instead, it kept waiting while the signals indicated another approaching southbound. Even so, this train caught me off guard with its quick approach so no shot of the head-end power. |
