Relative newcomers on the fuel ramp |
Description: |
4196 is the latest red and gray repaint. I wasn't aware the ex-UP SD60M group extended north of the 602Xs. Unlike those, 6031 is the dual-pane windshield variant (as opposed to the "Triclops"). |

WAMX 4196 has joined its former Hammond mate 4197 as part of the red and gray brigade |
Description: |
Currently the latest to receive the red and gray dip (one can hope the SD60Ms will be joining them sometime soon). It and 4197 were previously in service at Watco's transload facility in Hammond, IN wearing their generic black and yellow scheme. |

WAMX 4196 would appear to once again be a long-term resident |
Description: |
It was in the exact same spot when I was in Janesville five days earlier. Shortly after being painted in the fall of 2021, it sat (facing west) on the end of the fuel ramp at the south side of the roundhouse for several months. It was in service for a few months in the spring/summer of this year (of course I never caught it) but would seem to once again be parked. |
