The Meigs spur is actually the only remaining stub of the old Soo Line "P-Line" that once came down from Stevens Point (abandoned in the 1940s!), and the tail track used for headroom on it is a stub of the old MILW Northern Division line to Horicon/Milwaukee (abandoned between here and Cambria in the early '80s). |

Meigs is an asphalt company...not sure what they receive/ship in the tankers. The spur splits into two tracks, from Google Earth it looks like they can fit up to 14 cars at a time. |
