Grain MTs creep along the Chemung branch |
Description: |
The Chemung branch (formerly known as the Chicago-Chemung Railroad) was once part of the C&NW's "KD Line" between Kenosha and Rockford, with a split at Caledonia that allowed passenger trains to/from Chicago to serve Beloit and then re-join the line to Madison and points northwest at Evansville. |

Crossing a private driveway on the Chemung branch |
Description: |
To my disappointment, DeLong didn't send out their SW7 switcher (ex-CM&N 202) to grab the empties at Oak Grove Road like they did when I chased this operation a year prior. Instead, the UP power took the empties all the way to the elevator at Chemung. |
