The golden light just kisses the treetops as AMTK 90413 leads Hiawatha 342 into the station |
Description: |
342 is under a bit of pressure tonight. First, they have to get out of the depot before CP train 198, hot on their heels and very short on hours, arrives at the depot aiming for a crew change at Highway 11 just a mile south. Meanwhile, the other Hiawatha set with Veterans unit 42 and Phase III 40th Anniversary NPCU 406 died at MP 36 due to an engine fire on #42 while running as train 340. 342 will have to combine with that train and bring both into CUS. |
