The westbound 'Builder had to drag its heels a bit between Portage and the Dells due to 199 running in the block ahead (not sure why the DS didn't put him in at Lewiston instead). They had also overtaken the deadheading OCS at Three Light. Ironically, 7 would soon hold at Tomah while the police were called to evict an unruly passenger, likely delaying the two trains it had just gotten ahead of. |
