While their large, modern widecab units occasionally show up leading trains on both the UP and CP in Wisconsin, I never expected to see a Ferromex standard cab Geep! They would wye this unit at Portage and have it haul the train solo west from there on the following day. |

CP's GMD(London, Ont.)-built SD40-2s have become quite rare over the last few years. They are most commonly found on work trains such as this, or the ballast trains I caught about a year ago, and the rail train this past January. Once in a blue moon one will still show up on a manifest. |
