Wet Pony |
Description: |
In my early days of railfanning 12-15 years ago, it was far more common to see NS power on CN than CP in Wisconsin. Then that flipped for a few years, then flipped again as NS power seemed to disappear from the CP(KC) for a while, then came back. Now it seems to be about even, although rather less common on both as of the second half of 2023. |

NS 9948 sits paired with CN 5667 as the L581 power passes behind |

With most of the Class Is recently casting off a lot of what still seems to me like modern widecab, 4K+ HP EMD power, it's nice to see the SD75Is still around...they were extremely common power on the CN Waukesha Sub in my early years of railfanning. |

Yet more interesting power hanging out on the west end of the yard |

I had not been aware there were still any B&LE units active on CN's roster, much less in Wisconsin, other than a few of the 900-series ex-tunnel motors! |
